HELTA TESOL was the leading affiliate from 2016 – 2019. Presidency was received during the 13th Regional Biennial Conference of the Central America and Caribbean of the TESOL Group. This was a very successful presidency as the milestones reached were:
- Bringing together over 15+ countries from Latin America.
- Bringing more than 30 presenters from over Latin America.
- Setting the foundation to unite Latin America and move to creating the Latin America TESOL Group.
